The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Office Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Bristol office. This role covers facilities, health and safety, onboarding, administration, HR operations, and acting as the primary liaison for IT support.
The role reports to senior leadership and works closely with teams across Bristol, London and Glasgow to maintain an efficient, safe and welcoming workplace. It also offers the opportunity to influence office processes, contribute to HR initiatives and help shape the employee experience in a part-time, hybrid arrangement.
Responsibilities will include
• Manage office and facilities arrangements, including building access, supplier contracts, office supplies, rent reviews, refurbishments and expansion.
• Lead health and safety activity by developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating first aiders and fire marshals across all sites.
• Oversee onboarding and off-boarding, including welcoming new joiners, arranging home office equipment, and managing IT onboarding and off-boarding.
• Provide administration and reception support, handling communications, mail, visitor reception and meeting-room bookings.
• Maintain HR systems and records, including the HR platform, organisational charts, and support with holiday allowances and benefits.
• Organise staff socials and wellbeing activity, including annual summer and Christmas parties, ad hoc team-building events, travel and wellbeing initiatives.
• Act as the primary IT liaison, triaging internal IT queries, escalating issues, and supporting data strategy or cyber-security changes.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and confident working with people at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.

• Good IT proficiency, particularly with Google Workspace, and an interest in supporting HR functions.
The Salary
£35,000–£45,000 pro-rated for part-time, depending on experience.

The Location
Central Bristol with a 1 day working from home. Occasional travel between other offices may be required.
